Giulia Folpini is a physicist specializing in optical and THz spectroscopy of organic and inorganic semiconductors. After completing her PhD at the Max Born Institute for Ultrafast Spectroscopy in Berlin (2018) she started collaborating with the Advanced Materials for Optoelectronics at CNST, focusing on the study of two- and three-dimensional metal halide perovskites. Within SOPHY, she continues her work on charge carriers and excitons dynamics in these materials, to tailor their optoelectronic properties toward the development of stable and efficient photovoltaic and light emitting devices.
